The Starboard Collectives Advantage

What makes our cohorts unique?

Focused

Our cohorts are designed around supporting specific industries, focus areas, or core business needs. Our goal is to curate groups intentionally focused on your pressing business needs and built to support your personal and professional growth. You will engage in compelling conversations about where you want to take your organization, gain meaningful guidance, and share your wins, challenges, and continued progress. Whether or not you are the one bringing up an issue for discussion, we are confident you will always leave each meeting with at least one actionable idea to grow your leadership and business success.

Intimate

Starboard Collective peer cohorts are unique in that they are limited in size (a maximum cohort of 10), and they are highly focused on issue resolution and support from peers who are just as keen to improve as you are. While a cohort leader may occasionally provide outside speakers and programming, our core value is in the thought leadership of the people around you. Our structure fosters a confidential, professional environment where cohort members can be open and direct with one another. It’s the power of community and shared purpose that makes Starboard Collectives a unique and powerful resource for your growth.

Inclusive

At Starboard Collectives, we believe that restricting participation based on organization size, headcount, or revenue narrows the diversity of thought that makes a cohort truly powerful. We curate groups that bring together a wide range of participants, united not by the scale of their business but by the quality of their thinking and the authenticity of their leadership. Our members show up fully,  ready to contribute, challenge, and be challenged,  and that shared commitment is what makes Starboard Collectives an authentically generative space.

Starboard Collectives Scholarship

As an expression of our inclusive values, Starboard Collectives offers a limited number of reduced-fee spaces in each cohort. These spots are designed to open doors for leaders of early-stage and pre-revenue organizations, with particular emphasis on those from underrepresented communities in business leadership. We believe the best cohorts are built from the broadest possible range of perspectives, and our scholarship program is but one way we put that belief into practice.
